I need this to spread far and wide. While people are dying from the USAID shut down and Elon has cancelled funds to Dept of Education and HHS contracts by the millions, SpaceX has just been awarded 38 million dollars. You know, Elon’s company SpaceX.

I’m not actually one of those “omg eggs so expensive HALP” people because honestly we buy farmers market eggs. But whenever I see a shared recipe online for anything calling for, say, six eggs, I reply that this must not be for a US Audience because we aren’t made of egg money you know. Six eggs!

ADM Fagan by all accounts was a very good head of the USCG, she just wouldn't take a loyalty oath to MAGA and they knew it. This firing is a shot across the bow to all generals and admirals that unless they pledge undying loyalty to Trump, they will be fired.

DMV area (not politics): there have been notices about traffic closures around Tysons Corner for next weekend but last night the lane changes on the outer loop unexpectedly forced me off before my usual turn and forced a 1/2 hour detour, along with angry motorists and road ragers all around.

It’s 11° out and I drove the kids to the bus stop because I didn’t want them to freeze out there, and for the few seconds it took to get back-and-forth from the car to the house, I have, myself, seemingly frozen. Hands and feet are achingly cold, and Reynaud’s white has settled into multiple toes.

The problem with TikTok has nothing to do with individual data privacy. If you continue to look at it in terms of your cat photos you will never understand the big picture.

Thoughts from my nighttime meds: Autism and ADHD are separate neurodivergences but when you have both it’s not co-occurring but a third, separate way that your brain works that is neither ADHD nor autistic but something different. Curious about studies. Are other cooccurring people as introspective?
