The Temptation of Sir Gawain An interpretation of the Arthurian legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, in which the knight is seduced by both Lord and Lady Bertilak. Here we see the knight in between the couple, head tilted back, eyes closed, as Lord Bertilak wraps a large hand around his neck and presses in close from behind. Emyr is a trans man! He is famous for the performances in his tavern and many people travel just to hear his mesmerizing song. His renown is so great he was even granted an honorary title be the city's Matriarch, but not many know that beyond that he has an unusually keen eye for anything magical.
Character design sheet for Emyr, an original character. Emyr is an asian man. There is a set of face sketches exploring different hairstyles such as a bob, undercut with long hair and long hair as well as makeup and beard. There are three outfit designs, all in predominantly yellow and golden tones with red accents. All outfits have many, many, MANY layers, ties and buckles. They are elaborate, with wing-like elements to give off a performer and songbird sort of vibe. Two grayscale panels. First one is showing Taelon unleashing a flock of magical fiery birds as he climbs up a stairwell in an attempt to impress Emyr. The second one is showing Emyr at the top of a stairwell, the teacup he's holding tilting and spilling as the same birds weave around him. He looks over them in wonder.

Share your knowledge if/when you can. Teaching other people how to do what you do doesn’t lessen your art - it just means more and better art for everyone.

I appreciate when people are willing to tell me about their brushes, how they study, etc… I want to put that back out into the world.
