Went to the Royal Liver Building today to see an exhibition of Liverpool themed comic covers by the brilliant Tommy Graham. A lovely guy and a great artist. Check it out if your in town. You can purchase exhibition issue copies of the covers . lauramccannphotos.com/tommy-graham

Today is the birthday of legendary cartoonist Al Jaffee (March 13, 1921-April 10, 2023). His career began in 1942 & ended in 2020, which holds the Guinness World Record as the longest for a cartoonist. But he is most remembered for the 65 of those years he spent as a contributor to #MadMagazine.

Some follow-up thoughts on BF today about our friend R. E. Burke if you want to know more about her contributions to the UK comics community. She's one of the kindest and most generous people I've worked with at BF and her detention by ICE is horrific. - Andy
