Within the next seven months people will lose healthcare access. Healthcare costs will go up for everyone within the next year as uncompensated care risks increase.

I have been working in state and federal advocacy for decades- I have never been so saddened by a budget markup in my life. Right now Ways and means- millions of citizen children will not qualify for child tax credit if ONE of their parents is without a SSN. They got the bill to read yesterday.

Republicans on Sunday shows this morning confirm we are two- three weeks out from empty shelves and layoffs in shipping and trucking. This will drive up prices for domestic goods too. I’m stocking my family up this weekend, hoping I’m wrong.
