Cruelty for the sake of cruelty to continue mass firings they started in January while people who dedicate their lives to public service anxiously try to do their jobs.

Using public servants as pawns like this is disgusting and shameful.

It's hard to take so much bad news every day. But an educated populace is the most vital tool to #defenddemocracy

Public media is extremely important, especially these days. Boring plain facts are necessary for us to actually know what's happening. Defending democracy means supporting actually free and fair media.

Banning innocuous words from federal agencies sure seems like it follows a fascism playbook.
The Department of Energy has now banned the following words and phrases:

climate change, green, decarbonization, energy transition, clean energy, emissions, sustainability, tax breaks, carbon footprint.

This is dystopian and should terrify anyone paying attention.
