I love formal wear at church as much as the next guy, but I need folks to understand that if I am to wear a suit and tie to church, I will need multiple towels to soak up the sweat.

the US's long slide into modern US men's clothing/trucks/etc is part-and-parcel with idealizing a police force that is distant from the populace, that loves faceless guns and blacked-out cars. No more Andys Griffith or Carls Winslow. Shout out to Nate Powell's essential essay.
