As a former correctional officer it's a really dumb and bad idea to end solitary confinement or protective custody which is usually also solitary confinement. It's not just done to protect the inmates but also the officers from getting caught in the middle of them trying to take each other out!

Here we are 6 years later, and not a single republican showed up to honor the men and women who defended the building that day, people who still bear the emotional and physical scars from that day. It's truly shameful. But honestly not surprising. 💔

And one had a car crash and is in the hospital. It wouldn't surprise me if Johnson would shut the house down permanently to avoid swearing in replacements if they happen to be democrats. What are the options? What can we do besides protest? Dems in power need to ramp up their messaging.
With the retirement of Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the passing of LaMalfa, it looks like the GOP no longer holds a working majority until his seat is filled. It’s at 217. They need 218 for a majority.

I felt like making something different. Made from scratch with raw salmon,tuna and fake crab meat. Pan fried with a side of German cucumber salad since I had fresh dill left over from yesterday's meal. Both turned out so good!
