Having a deadline of 4-4.5k words for 4/7 days a week is kinda insane when you type it out like this.

On the plus side, procrastination becomes harder when you have a couple thousand people you'll disapoint if you don't do it.

How many words do my fellow #authors generally write a day?
What's your goal and what do you usually manage to achieve?
For me, writing two #Webnovels (so less strict on the necessity to keep everything short) and releasing 4 chapters a week (2 per novel), I aim for 16k words, usually do 18.5k.

What's the #writing and #author community's take on webnovel nowadays?
Few years ago they were pretty looked down upon from what I saw. Has that changed in recent years?
IMO, episodic releases are an interesting format unique to webnovels, that open avenues closed to more traditional releases.

Is Bluesky a safe space to say that the new Legend of Zelda games are wholly overrated as video games?
Safe enough to say that if they hadn't been called "Zelda" barely anyone would've paid attention to them, especially the first one?
Take away the name and you're only left with a gimmick.
