I always interpreted Asa's reaction to Yuko confessing to murder as her being too shocked to react, but given what we learned this chapter, it is entirely possible that she is just numb to murder confessions due to having the confession of her mother in her subconscious for the entire time.

My biggest yoshida cope theory rn is that he and Barem switched hearts and Yoshida is the new flamethrower devil. Does it make sense ? I guess. Why a flamethrower? IDK. Is it cope ? Absolutely

Setting aside the meta aspect of this, i believe since Yoru doesnt wanna be forgotten she's purposfully overshadowed Asa and has been torturing Denji. It's interesting because both Denji and the Manga has forgotten about Asa.

#csm197 ive been having this thought for a year actually, but i think people arent generally as afraid of death anymore as they used to, and that could explain why she's so weak right now? Idk death would be an escape from this war torn city

#csm193 the repeating plot elements can be a bit tiring, but i like that In contrast to Makima, Yoru is the most on the nose antagonist and is just plain evil and doesnt hide ANY of it. I do like that difference and it makes Yoru more intriguing as an antagonist

#csm193 on a side note the lighting, facial expressions, composition, this chapter was fucking gorgeous. fujimoto has such a way of making these these stark depictions of people that i can't get enough of

#csm193 pretty good chapter i suppose , i like the direct parallel to Makima , which gives this plotline more of a purpose. But realisticly Asa shouldnt be okay with this at all and this shouldnt be excused because of her liking denji or whatever. But im fine with this
