I like this idea from Austin Kleon "Online, big work gets smaller, while smaller work stays the same or gets bigger."

A hard part of storyboarding is that the scope is essentially limetless. How many panels? How clean or rough? Editing? sound fx? tones? colour?

It's really hard to figure out where the line is, because that line is different for every show.

I use this all the time
rotating goes beyond drawing those tough curves. It also gives flexibility to scaling! when you rotate the stage, the bounding box always says vertical & horizontal - like this

Hitting shift+m will pop you back to origin. but if you hit it again, you go directly to the last adjusted rotation & zoom

Any Directors in Animation interested in talking shop?

Got an upcoming project that‘s going to be *busy*, love to hear how other folks handle managing multiple episodes at the same time.

Just one of the best TV things
And if you're a comic book creator and you don't know what Manben is and/or you've never watched it...

...well, that's the rest of your day planned. Because you should really be watching every episode of this that you can.

Manga, where drama is created with just the tip of a pen. In this program, we show you where manga is made — usually off-limits to the public — and explore the craft.

I’m doing something I’m excited about for work. Instead of doing super tight boards for the clients, I’m training the animators up, so they can do essentially character layout

Manga is the global mainstream of comics, and American comics are a niche domestic industry. Manga is to Hollywood, like the Japanese Film industry is to American Comics.

America is used to being the leader in cultural export, but it's obvious that manga and anime Japan is the leader.
