Have you ever noticed that ‘what’ rhymes with ‘lot’ but not with ‘that’?
Likewise, ‘car’ doesn’t rhyme with ‘war’, and neither do ‘trash’ and ‘wash’, ‘catch’ and ‘watch’, and ‘camp’ and ‘swamp’.

If you expected #CookieInformation 's "cookie scanner" (their way to detect what technologies you are using...) to be able to click "Accept" on a website's #PiwikPro #ConsentManager (same company), you definitely expect too much.

So far I thought the social platforms (#Meta, #tiktok) are world champs in maximum self-attribution of conversions, but there are specialized #Attribution platforms that you give you even higher numbers than the platforms themselves... Tiktok Rev acc to Tiktok: 100k. Acc to attr platform: 245k! 😆😆

Has anybody at #PiwikPro thought through this whole "forced migration to #CookieInformation" idea? To test the connection between CookieInfo and PP, you need to upgrade to a Business Account. But as soon as you upgrade to a Business Account, your old CM stops working. So how do u test this shit???

It was too late on my laptop, but on my desktop PC, I extended the #windows 10 lifetime to Oct 26 by signing up for security updates until then. #Windows11 is such a disaster in terms of UX, Privacy and performance. I am seriously considering trying Mac again (couldn’t get used to it 3 yrs ago).

We need to dramatically improve ad libraries as a core way to slow down scams.
We got Meta’s “general global playbook” for defeating advertiser verification regulations, which the company knows would reduce scams. It includes making scam ads “not findable” for regulators searching Meta’s ad library through targeted scrubbing.

"Will we need to update all our keywords in #GoogleAds to lower-case to align with #PiwikPro ’s reporting?" => Thou shalt never have case mixes in Google Ads in the first place! Google treats them case-insensitively, but they cause a problem bc PP can't match mixed-case keywords.

Yes, just keep pushing tracking changes live completely untested. And close down the staging environment while at it. "There may be need to emphasize when things shouldn't go live. Our Continous Integration setup envisions every finished feature goes live asap..." #ContinuousIntegration

Recently, #PiwikPro added the "description" field for Custom Dimensions. But instead of going into 8 Sites to edit the descriptions for 60 CDs each (480 edits), just edit them once in ur blueprint site & then sync to the others (30 seconds). With #PiwikProManager. Free! github.com/loldenburg/p...
