Today the world lost a hero to many - myself included. Her passion and dedication as a conservationist and primatologist are evident in her accomplishments & the countless careers she inspired and hearts she won over.

RIP Jane Goodall. You will be sorely missed. 💙

At the age of 91, she was still going strong and was on a speaking tour. What an amazing woman. Her light shone so bright. Rest peacefully, beloved Jane.

Interesting that the US government funds a separate Holocaust Museum depicting the atrocities against Jewish people from 1933-45 in Europe, yet the history of slavery is “overemphasized” as one of hundreds of exhibits at the Smithsonian…while slavery existed in the US for 246 years (1619 to 1865).
