I had two standing garden planters built for the front of my house, which otherwise has no greenery and connects straight to sidewalk.
Passers-by laughed, jeered even, saying that people steal plants around here. I pressed on.
No one warned me about the birds.
The birds fooled everyone.

Hands down one of my favourite parts about living on the East Coast is when I go to the beach, and a seagull or crow picks up a big shellfish, flies it way up into the sky, and drops it so that it breaks on the rocks, exposing the food.

Went to the grocery store yesterday and saw the little Canadian flags beside Canadian items, but not beside ALL Canadian items. Why? Because Grocery stores still want to sell their brand first (Compliments, PC, etc). Check the label, not the store-run flag system, k?
