End of a busy week. Finished up the Plot2Plate community garden project, helped St David's Secondary school do a Big Beach Clean and attended a vigil for Gaza.
Just a snapshot !

Do you feel safe sea swimming after a sewage leak?

At the moment tests are only done during the bathing season.I asked the Council to review their policy and test sea water after a sewage overflow.

If the Council hasn't the resources, maybe citizen scientists need to step in? 🤔

Fantastic Harvest Festival today, brought by residents of Hawkins Wood and Aldborough. A true community event and was my pleasure to open the festivities!

Netanyahu announced full occupation of Gaza — while people starve, are displaced and killed.

This is genocide.

EU must act now:
- Impose a full arms embargo
- Suspend the EU-Israel Agreement
- Move to recognise Palestine

Stop the war. Ceasefire and humanitarian aid — now!

What a super day of free classes at the Marina. 😍
From yoga to zumba to face yoga... something for everyone.
I love community events like this where people get to check out what's going on in the area and all for FREE.

Well done @greystoneswellnesshub 😃. Excited to see what happens next!

Speaking to Newstalk this week about the chaos at our beaches when the sun shines. It's the same year in year out and yet the NTA don't take any action.
An easy, quick solution would be shuttle buses from towns to the beaches, making the journey a lot more pleasant.

We all saw the overflowing bins at the weekend....not pleasant!

The good news is that I have secured extra bins for key locations over the rest of the summer. So hopefully this will help

Big thanks due to the Council who had this cleared quickly this morning.

What an amazing community event this morning. ⚽️

Still no direct airport link for North Wicklow.

🚫 NTA won’t meet with Councillors
🚫 Kilmacanogue stop not accessible
This is a public transport failure affecting 60,000+ people in the area. I’ll continue to push the NTA for a proper solution.
