Here's Begonia socotrana, a bulbous Begonia endemic to the arid, hot island of Socotra off the coast of Yemen. It grows in shady spots in rock crevices, unusual compared to most tropical rainforest begonia habitats. 🤔 It goes dormant, drops its leaves, regrows. Origin: 1880, Originator: Balfour.🌱
