my security job is a hellscape where I must apply for the shifts I want to do for the month, yet they will not give me any reason as to why deny my applications for shifts that are very much real, set in stone, and available

what sucks most about my job is that my department is half staffed by Proper British Geezers who are insanely nosy and also old enough to be estranged uncles in any other scenario, so I can't have any peace and quiet when I'm on lunch break
