My favourite engineering solutions involve few or no moving parts even if it reduces ideal efficiency slightly. Real life is not ideal so elegant solutions that work 95% as effectively the ideal ones are preferential if they work at that level 99% of the time versus 25.

I might make the drone myself. The reason why I never bought one before other than price is because none do the things I need without being extremely expensive and with features that I am not interested in using and thus paying for.

As with sequels, reboots and remakes people claim that they want something else yet their behaviour for a hundred years shows very different behaviour.

Trailers began doing this since at least 1933. King Kong is shown explicitly at the top of the Empire State building being shot at by planes. Before this they yell "we're millionaires boys" and it cuts to Kong being captured. Then escaping. People running away. The entire movie in 90 seconds.
