Aly has started to "bury" her food to save it for later. I was confused until my husband pointed out that she *has food left over*. This means she's feeling more safe and secure and less anxious about where her next meal will come from.

Their goal is to persuade people to mind their own business, stay out of politics, and never hope for a democratic alternative: Our state may be corrupt, but everyone else is corrupt too. You may not like our leader, but the others are worse. You may not like our society, but at least we are strong and the democratic world is weak, degenerate, divided, dying.

Something was wrong with Aly's eye, so we took her to the vet. They used a black light and fluorescent drops to confirm there's no damage, just an infection.

All three cats now get Super Treats (fish filet) with breakfast so we can mix Aly's meds in to hers.

Chester is back from dental surgery. He returns with two fewer teeth and a small shaved patch. I'd get you a picture of his teefies sticking out now, but he's sleeping.

I wanted to post some new art, but I realized I should really be putting watermarks on them first. That led to me designing a watermark, which led to practicing my signature, which led down a 3-day rabbit hole of "I'm being productive, I swear!"

Anyway. Anyone have watermark design advice?
