Verdict on #BlueArk: It was a very useful efficient way to export my tweets to #BlueSky. 1171/1808 tweets were exported-mostly original tweets. But guess what, all tweets from 2007-2019 were personal and private (yes, I'd joined twitter in my college days). I then painstakingly deleted them 😅

‘A place of joy’: why scientists are joining the rush to Bluesky
Researchers say the social-media platform — an alternative to X — offers more control over the content they see and the people they engage with.

I don't want to start from scratch to build my BlueSky personality so I just tried migrating my 1808 tweets using BlueArk for USD$4.90. Waiting to see if it works. If it does, it's a whole new world!
With BlueArk, you can migrate your tweets from X/Twitter to Bluesky quickly, securely and with the original date of each post. We preserve your stories, your media and your most relevant content on a new platform, without losing anything along the way. 🪽 blueark.app/en-us/

A huge privilege to be able to host @bpenuel and his wife, Edie, at the #RPIC2024 conference. Thank you for sharing your work. I'm really encouraged by the possibilities RPP affords! It was also a joy moderating your Q&A session.

So, so thrilled to finally be able to meet @mobilemobilizer and fan-girl in person! Thanks, David, for being such a generous mentor and friend since we met online in 2020! And for the lovely walk and dinner today with @mobilizemichael, Krista, Gary, and Sophie! Talk again soon!

So glad this arrived so quickly after seeing it on @blakeacutler's tweet. A glimpse into the future because it's my first 2024 book! Hope to finish before 2023 ends! 😄 Congrats, and thanks for putting all Q Project's insights together, @mark_rickinson, and colleagues!

A lovely end to #EIS2023 having lunch with Arild, @MaryAbdo, @cheryl_kfseah, and @vness_rose. Thanks for the lovely time.

@viviant88's point about who gets a seat at the table really resonates - Have been thinking about us when we do research on education issues in Singapore, how much of practitioners' voice do we include in the conversation, what are the pain points they want to find out? #EIS2023

Struck and challenged by what @MicaelaCronin said on how these conversations helped her to think what her job is to do. #EIS2023

Knowledge Brokering as a musical? How cool of Emmah, Megan and Sally to helpfully put together the role of the knowledge broker and what a KB does like in a musical. Resonates with so much of what I do & want to do. Thanks for sharing KTIPs too! #RISummit I miss musicals. sobs.

Still #RISummit-ing. Very thoughtful reflections and responses by Ranjit on the higher education culture, or lack thereof, on engagement and impact. Seriously nothing short of a culture shift, leadership, and individuals' capacity (and mindset shift, might I add!)
November 24, 2024 at 2:12 AM
Start with the beginning and the end at #RISummit! @HallGed's survey findings across several countries for the #ResearchCultureUncovered podcast on hopes and fears vis-a-vis research culture is a helpful reminder that doing research impact needs to be value-driven and valued.
November 24, 2024 at 2:12 AM
A little slow getting started on #RISummit But it's so good to start with @JennyGRankin hearing her thoughts excitedly on empathy and how important it is to help others change their minds, and making data "available over the counter" #researchimpact #impactculture
November 24, 2024 at 2:12 AM
Exciting to be presenting this at #EIS2023 on behalf of the Project Impact team, funded by the Education Research Funding Programme, @MOEsg

Finally considering to set up another account elsewhere, given the absurb changes on Twitter and sad to risk losing my go-to gurus on #knowledgemobilisation and #researchimpact. But, perhaps it's time. Mastodon seems the one to migrate to. Any other recommendations?
