I write young adult and sweet romance novels. I love seeing others' nature photos. Languages are my jam–learning Japanese right now. Also speak German. Like to think I can still order pea soup in Quebec in French.
At the same time as Grendizer. Might try to look this up.
Steel Jeeg (1975-1976) - Go Nagai, Masayuki Akehi, Toei Animation, Dynamic Planning

Definitely a really fun show for what it is, well paced for its runtime and tighter which i really hoped. Not all episodes were winners, but I still feel like a winner after watching it.

As pressures on democracy and our infosphere continue to grow, the role of scientists is increasingly politicised and at risk.

@egu.eu's webinar on 13 November, featuring @lewan.bsky.social, offers an overview of how scientists can respond and safeguard their work.

I didn’t know Ontario had $75m to spend on an anti-tariff ad in the US, using possibly protected IP in the form of Reagan’s voice.
I guess one thing we can be sure of about Ford is that he doesn’t understand diplomacy. At. All.
End of this month’s political rant.

It’s 4am where I live right now, and I’ve been up for at least an hour. Thank you, perimenopause. Am now going to spend the rest of my “sleep” watching anime to get my mind off whatever worries it’s created for me.

To share something nice this morning.
Decent showing of pinnipeds at Race Rocks yesterday. Vocal Steller and California Sea Lions are always entertaining. A Northern Fur Seal constituted a rarity for these waters. #MarineLife #mammals

Getting ready for a conference reminds me every time about the importance of writing to understanding what I'm arguing. Writing is thinking and no matter how much you think that you know what you're talking about, writing it all down sharpens all of the connections you need to make.

Who's the geek? Booked a trip to Japan and am spending two nights at a location suspected to be Grendizer's crash site 😂🥰 There's even a Makiba Park with farm animals there.

In all this ugh, I have a bit of good news! I recently released the last book in my first YA series📚. I wrote "Between Worlds" for the "missing middle": pre-teen readers who want a 14-year-old protagonist.
