Called all the CO District reps, yes even those I oppose, and those out of my district, urging them to do what's right for their constituents and the American people. Spoke with a few staffers and left vms too. Please do the same. Remember, they work for us.

Sunday rode 68 miles and raised almost $2300 in the #RidetoendALZ.
I did it so other families won't go through what ours did with my mom.
As I crossed the finish line, a man came up and thanked me, telling me he has the disease. I hugged him and said, "We're gonna find you a cure." Tears flowed.

Although my dad wasn't lost in battle, as a proud veteran who enlisted when he turned 18 to fight in the Pacific Theatre, and then again for the Korean war, during which he did serve stateside, I feel he deserves to be honored.

My daughter, an academic physician, has been attending a conference for the last several days.
It's a shame these accomplished, well educated clinicians and researchers should have to spend their valuable time on this bullshit. But this is the world we live in.

Very red, wealthy Paradise Valley, AZ, where i'm visiting and watching my grandkids. it made me so happy I rolled down. The windows told them if I didn't have the little ones with me I'd be out there with them and power to the people. Everyone cheered. Solidarity.

Had the opportunity to see/ listen to the super talented, brilliant writer, @pamlhouston.bsky.social at Boulder Book store. Much has changed in an unfortunate way since she published "Without Exception." But her voice, resolve and truth remain strong, loud and steady. Just what I needed.

This morning, I was talking to a friend and as I shared with her, 35 years ago had I known the direction this country was going today, I would not have had children.
I love my two daughters as fiercely as a mother can, and now my four grands. I am so profoundly concerned about their future.
