We haven’t known
this winter

The thermometer drops

I couldn’t bear to watch or think about the inauguration. I’m not checked out, but I am protecting myself. Today I am thinking of what is most important to me. Beauty, justice, love. I will gird them around me for the trials ahead.

I’m creating another Advent tree w/ a daily ink from the Diamine Inkvent calendar. This year’s inspiration is one of my very favorite stories. I never tire of it. Self-published by Charles Dickens in 1843 - his publishers didn’t believe in it. What good work this book has done in the world!
