Anyone who thinks that soldiers must follow even blatantly illegal orders should read about the My Lai massacre, about 2Lt. William Calley, who went to prison, and about Warrant Officer Hugh Thompson, Jr., who heroically intervened to put a stop to the massacre, and later testified against Calley.

I’m beginning to think that, in ordering members of the military to kill defenseless civilians outside any combat zone, (in the Caribbean Sea, for example), #Trump is less interested in intercepting drugs headed to the U.S. as he is testing the willingness of servicemen to obey illegal orders.
November 20, 2025 at 6:53 PM
If what #Trump is trying to say is that members of the U.S. armed forces are free to commit war crimes, or just plain ordinary murder, with impunity, provided only that their actions conform to orders, albeit illegal ones, received from a superior, I have a two word response: #QuietPiggy.

Trump has always been an extremely vulgar man. His senile dementia now makes it harder for him to suppress his vulgarity even when he knows that cameras are rolling.

When asked if there was anything "incriminating" in Epstein's emails, Trump pointed a finger in a female reporter's face and snapped. 'Quiet. Quiet, Piggy.'

Bitcoin reached $126,000 in early October and recently fell to below $90,000. Things are starting to wobble, economically speaking. That, paradoxically, is a good thing, politically speaking, if the overriding objective is to crush Trumpism once and for all.

I can’t wait to find out what Melania will come up with this time around in terms of Christmas decorations. Gold Christmas trees? Pink? Black? Wait … she did that already, I think. 🙄

It is possible to detest #MTG now as much as before even while hoping that she is 100% correct in foreseeing the imminent collapse of MAGA and the return to a more “normal” political climate. You can hope that she is politically perspicacious without changing your mind about her basic depravity.
November 16, 2025 at 9:15 PM
Before her election to Congress, #MTG ostensibly posted statements on Facebook advocating the killing of certain prominent Democratic leaders. After her election, her tendency to make evil, insane and stupid comments did not diminish. She said that Dr. Fauci had committed “crimes against humanity.”

If I got it straight, the recent legislation signed by Trump includes a provision allowing certain people (a few U.S. Senators) to sue the U.S. government for $500,000 based on the actions of government investigators that were perfectly lawful when they took place (the seizure of phone records).
