Tonight’s paint session was experimental color blocking. I’m not done with it and obviously it’s extremely WIP but I like the direction. It’s very animu.

Green onions are so rewarding to grow at home. They take next to no effort and each plant is currently growing about a quarter inch a day. Multiply by ~25 plants and it really adds up!

The "traditional" structure of TTRPGs puts an enormous amount of pressure on the GM to learn/refine & very little on the players.
Which is somehow seen as more reasonable than spreading the load of learning/contribution across the whole table.

I had a nightmare last night that something so terrible had happened to my cat that my brain blanked it out so hard I was unable to perceive what had happened, which is why I was out of bed holding my very sleepy and confused cat close at 4am. He's a soft grey idiot and I love him.

Last nights diner was amazing, and my contribution was partially inspired by Culinary Class Wars: what if there was a world where there were only leeks?
Reverse seared steak and peppercorn sauce by my partner, while I did deep fried leek threads, sautéed leeks, and oil-grilled leek stalks. A+

Got the platinum for Ghost of Yotei. Overall: 9/10
Beautifully done, snappy and fun game play with many different tools to tackle any given battle. Parkour was ok. I emotionally dislike some of the act 3 story choices, but ultimately understand why those story beats happened the way they did.

2025 may have been a pretty garbage year on the macro level, but I also moved in with the love of my life, ran three full weekend larps with my partner along with a fourth bonus day game, got my scuba cert, started a new-old job, made new friends, and many other wonderful things.

The new hobby is going well. I spent waaay too much time pixelfucking th e join lines on the Devilfish thrusters, but I feel totally vindicated after priming them (and then put them away before getting a pic like an absolute lord)

The hardest part about my current crafting project is that I can’t share it because SOMEONE might see it.
But let’s just say I managed to recover from a truly epic series of fuckups with only a small imperfection that is only noticeable if you know exactly what and where it is.
