Thune says they will negotiate on ACA rates AFTER gov’t reopens. Why not now? Thune’s lying
A couple in Seattle could see their monthly health insurance bill increase by over $1,500 next year all because Republicans would rather fund billionaire tax breaks than allow middle class and working-class families to afford coverage.

If Thune is willing to negotiate ACA after gov’t opens, why not just do it now. I don’t trust GOP. Truth is not a tool in their kit.

Government needs to take the reigns but with intelligent cross-domain considerations, not knee-jerk tariffs and extraordinary extravagance for only those at the very top!
I have worked in high tech since the 1970s. Many powerful and valuable innovations have come and gone with more coming, yet, its demands are out of proportion to the value it claims. I resent the demand to continually change how we do what we do just to accommodate what has become High Yech!

This is typical of Republican policy. Unless you're a billionaire, you're on your own OR if your suffering benefits a billionaire, let 'er rip! True! Look around.
The Trump administration has the responsibility to feed 42 million hungry Americans. SNAP has about $5 billion in an emergency fund and has the ability to transfer this money to provide funding to cover November benefits. Instead, they're leaving them hungry.

A fundamental flaw in critical thinking about poverty is how people become poor and who is at fault.

OK So Trump’s peace plan in the Gaza war is already over.
The day after Donald Trump announced his plan for a ceasefire, Israel struck more homes in Gaza City, reportedly killing dozens, including a three-month-old baby. In a new essay, @mosababutoha.bsky.social shares what’s happening to people he knows in Gaza.
There is No Peace in Gaza
Since President Trump announced his plan for a ceasefire, people I know have continued to be killed. One described torture during a year in Israeli custody.

The DOD accepted an anonymous $130 million gift from a wealthy donor to help pay military salaries during the government shutdown.
The department would not release any additional details about the unusual move.

Let's not forget the bail out to Argentina and inflation and unemployment on the rise. Nothing this administration does is meant to improve the lives of non-billionaires while they continue move to steal elections with gerrymander rules in next week's election. VOTE!!
15 million people could be kicked off health care, thousands of federal workers are working without pay, and working-class folks are at risk of losing critical food assistance.
