eiratanseyEarlier this year I started a podcast about the history of the New Deal, the series of programs rolled out under FDR to meet the challenges of the Great Depression. I really believe the New Deal can provide a blueprint for improving Americans’ lives nearly a century later. The first season is all about the electrification projects of the New Deal. Recent episodes have featured @buckminister_mueller talking about the TVA and @janneken talking about quilts (and we recorded the episode right after Mamdani won the NYC primary and were so excited!). And I think the podcast happens to have some of the coolest theme music of all time, created for me by the brilliant folks at @brightarchivespgh Some personal challenges have kept me off the microphone for the last couple months but now that things are settling down I’m excited to get back in the saddle soon.
