Don’t get excited - I had to because two of my degrees are literature based. Also, there’s no Shakespeare in here, which I found weird.

I always listen to nature sounds when I write. It's something that doesn't distract me, but fills the silence. And I've been doing it so long now, it signals to my brain that it's time to be creative. I usually watch pretty nature scenes on YouTube, but I like the sounds here because they're real.
I need this quite often, especially when I'm stuck inside at a desk in the middle of a skyscraper forest
I feel like if Bluesky doesn't already know about tree.fm you would want to. It loops recorded sounds from random forests from around the world & yes, it is just really, really nice.
