Today, the U.S. Senate passed a bill that will kick nearly 12 million off health coverage—the majority of whom are on Medicaid—and make it more difficult and expensive to obtain and keep health insurance.

A major win today in reducing the cancer burden! Any out-of-pocket costs can be a deterrent to accessing proven cancer screening which can be the difference between life and death.
In a victory for the fight against cancer, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the ACA's provision that requires most private insurers cover lifesaving preventive care services without cost sharing. ACS CAN led 32 partner organizations in applauding the decision: www.fightcancer.org/releases/mor...

1/3 The House passed a bill cutting Medicaid funding by an est. $715 billion. If approved by the Senate, these cuts will raise health care costs, negatively impact state budgets & deny affordable, quality health care to at least 8.6 million people according to the Congressional Budget Office.
