The House just voted YES on the spending bill!

Grateful to lawmakers for advancing a powerful package that supports #CancerResearch and prevention through funding for the NIH, the NCI + more, and #EarlyDetection through the #MCEDAct.

The bill now goes to the Senate for a vote next week.
The House is expected to vote on a spending bill this week that brings us closer to new treatments, earlier detection & more lives saved from cancer. But only if lawmakers follow through.

Over 50,000 people have signed our petition in support of #CancerResearch funding. ACS CAN volunteers delivered petitions to lawmakers at their local offices & shared why this funding matters. Enhanced health care tax credits lower the cost of health insurance for 20 million+ Americans, but they will expire at the end of the year. If Congress doesn’t act soon, more than 4 million people—including cancer patients—will lose health coverage, and costs will skyrocket. #HealthNotHikes
