Palestinians & Israeli leftists have a lot of experience with rubber bullets. They're classified as "nonlethal" & the name makes it sound like they're like Nerf darts.
They're not. They are rubber-coated solid metal. They frequently cause permanent injury & not infrequently kill.

I'm handing out mosquito larvae trap supplies to my neighbors this morning so here's a great reminder of an ecologically friendly way of ridding your yard of mosquitoes:
Given that it’s 80F in mid March, I’m deploying the mosquito larvae traps today. It’s a pollinator safe way to drastically reduce your local mosquito population. We stopped even seeing larvae in the buckets after two months. Here’s my quick how-to.

A general reminder—periodic cicadas pose no threat to anyone and their plant damage is limited to nipping off the ends of twigs. Please do not hose them with pesticide. They are slow and clumsy and confused and only want to make friends with other cicadas and die of sexual exhaustion.
