I began thinking about Jesus' life. I thought about it like I think about things, not in a super scriptural theological way, but what it would look like if He was the guy across the street and I was sitting on my front porch.
God is not mad at abuse victims any more than you would be angry at your child for being abused by a stranger at a city park. And while it is important to forgive our enemies, i cant imagine any parent that would first say that to a child that was abused, they would care for the injured child first!

Please don’t donate expired food, tattered clothes, broken items to charity. Junk for Jesus is still junk.

If we follow Jesus we should not be surprised if we live like Paul lived. Lots of people have misconstrued that to mean we will have a great big mega church and millions of followers and live in a mansion, but that was never Paul's life....

“CALLING THE LITTLE RED SPORTSCARS THAT BE NOT AS THOUGH THEY WERE…”
This scripture has somehow been used to promote the act of “claiming” what we think we need from scriptures in the bible: (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations…

The day Jesus didn’t have any bread or food, He asked a kid for some & fed thousands. What if He stopped by your church asking for bread & you said He should get a job & if He had more faith He wouldn’t have to borrow bread? What if instead you just gave Him some bread without a lecture?

Its not always because we are out of His will or not following Him that we can experience quiet times. times that it seems He is doing nothing in our lives, or through us, are not unusual, the children of Israel went through “down time”

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;  And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:     Acts 3:19-20

Jesus didn't raise Himself from the dead, His Father did. He relied on His Father every day. We aren't to go out on our own, but to rely on Jesus every day.

There is a provision in the law for if the whole congregation was led astray and sinned:

Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:  Exodus 23:2

Another thing Jesus changed from the old testament is killing people. Jesus said not to. Christians don’t kill people. Lots of people say they are Christians but “Christian” is what those that real…

Jesus was born in a country where the king didn’t mind killing lots of little children to keep his throne safe. Matt 2:16-18. Also the law of the land was so extreme that you could get crucified just for stealing, Matt 27:37-38. Jesus also knows what it is like to be betrayed by a friend.
the safest place to be is in His will
When we have given our lives over to the care of God through His Son Jesus we need not fear the end times. Jesus has all power and is able to keep us through it all. Are not two sparrows sold for a…

When the disciples were all enthralled looking at Moses and Elijah and Jesus, the Father interrupted them and said, “This is My Beloved Son, hear Him.”
We so often in church get off into ministries of other things and the Father still says, “My child, look to Jesus only.”
Taking Our Eyes off of Jesus

Some people say Jesus was weeding out the weak followers but I think he was weeding out the strong ones, those that trusted in their own strength & righteousness, showing them that their own strength was not enough, so they would come to realize they also needed a Savior.

We end up with ministries of condemnation and churches full of people who didnt seemingly need Jesus for anything anyway because they were able to do it all on their own. Or they were convinced they could be perfect if they just tried harder, and didnt dare admit they have sins they cant break off

Trying to talk about sexual sin is incredibly hard for people. They may come to church and feel that no one there would understand or have compassion on them, a lot won’t. You can pray and ask Jesus to send someone that you can talk about it with. You can confess it anonymously if you need to.

Condemnations biggest deception is telling people they've sinned so bad God would never forgive them, thats a lie.
