This is the law. Passed down from our Founding Fathers, to ensure our military upholds its oath to the Constitution — not a king. Given Stephen Miller is directing much of a military policy, he should buff up on the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

@nytimes.com, this is how you report the No Kings events. As the "paper of record," you should already know this, but just in case you forgot:

The NYT description of Trump's birthday drawing to fellow rapist Epstein: "a figure of a naked woman with 'Donald' written below her waist".

Nice way to sanitize it for him, @nytimes.com

This is why we need public media. I did not see coverage of the Anchorage protests in the #VichyMedia @nytimes.com or @washingtonpost.com

Alaska media covered it, but the only national media that did a story was @usatoday.com. @yahoonews.com ran a story that originally appeared in the Telegraph.

More than a dozen protests broke out statewide as President Trump and Russian President Putin met on Anchorage’s military base.

This was fascinating. My question: How could you tell whether or not Trump has dementia? He's been incoherent and rambling for years, how can you tell the difference?

Stayed tuned until end where they talk about the media not reporting on Trump's mental state (though they happily trashed Biden.)

More idiocy from Michigan. This time from Jack Bergman, MI-1, and unfortunately, my congressperson.

It was only a matter of time before some dumb politician from Michigan weighed in on the wildfire smoke situation here. And of course, she's from Macomb County. What an embarrassment.

On behalf of all thinking Michiganians, I apologize to our friends in Canada.

This is too stupid even for Jack Bergman (MI-1) to sign on.
@maddow.msnbc.com I realize the country’s focus has been on the tragedy in Texas. Meanwhile, Republican Members of Congress signed this absurd letter addressed to the Canadian Ambassador. Unbelievable…😔

Good time to subscribe to Wired. I used to think of it as a guilty pleasure at the newsstand, a holdover from nerdy youth. But they are doing an excellent job covering key elements of our political reality.

Pope Francis died of a cerebral hemorrhage.

I guess his head exploded after meeting the fake hillbilly turned fake Catholic.

Come to think of it, it seems like Vance's head should have exploded from the cognitive dissonance, trying to hold meeting this man of peace while being so hateful.

@danasam.bsky.social @benziedems.bsky.social Any plans to hold events on April 19? I know you are probably just recovering from Saturday's protests, so you may not want to plan something so soon.

Mammoths and dodos are cool, but maybe they could bring back extinct vertebrate Republicans.
The genetics startup Colossal has re-created dire wolves—a species that went extinct some 12,000 years ago. The company is also working on the woolly mammoth, the dodo, and the thylacine, a marsupial with the face of a fox and the stripes of a zebra.
