I'm a very basic home cook documenting what we eat to give other basic home cooks some random ideas.

P.s. The perfect 🍋 above was grown in our garden in the UKs rainy climate, we thought it would be the first of many, but it was a lone wolf.
Mindlessly ate my breakfast before taking my picture. But for those chia sead fans out there they're back!

Also went for a little 1.5 mile walk with a latte

A relaxed and lazy Sunday. It was hammering it down outside but it was cozy and warm inside.
I built another lego botanical and drank lots of tea.

• Pain au chocolate
• Scrambled eggs, rye bread, crispy bacon and crispy onions
• Cream slice
• Sunday roast dinner

Finally made it to the weekend. The delivery man squished my cream slices by accident, still tasted good 😅😅😅

This weeks food has been boring. Our budget for food bills is tight but, oh my days, this was a bad week for what I got...

First item and its the sandwich from yesterday!!

• Avocado rye bread and an egg
• Friday night veg fajita

My lentil lunch looked like dog sick but it tasted good.
My carbonara pasta uses spaghetti, guancial, pecorino romano, eggs, butter, pepper only
Also - biscuits in the office!

I completely forgot to post on Monday so here it is.

Sad news for chia sead fans as i ran out and had ro resort to an inferior overnight oats for breakfast

I've done that old lady thing where you sleep funny and wake up with a stiff neck. I can't really move it so cooking was fun!

I knew today was going downhill when I forgot my office pass and then the good eggs were on in the canteen - I'd plans not to get a work breakfast but, honestly, it was the good eggs!

Protein targets have been so easy to hit but fibre is a totally different story. Its sometimes a slog to find enough but today was a good day
