HMRC are giving 1 million people a Β£100 penalty for filing their tax returns late, even if they don't owe ANY tax.

Nadhim Zahawi dodged Β£3m in tax and repeatedly lied about it for 6 years.

All HMRC did was make him pay the interest on it.

Of course he can, as can Mone & many others. All this bleating about how complex it is: it shouldn't be, they should all be abolished, but meantime a simple mechanism should exist.
