My step-daughter spotted ICE capturing people in Orlando yesterday and came home extremely upset. Florida may be a "red state" but about 30% of us are registered democrats and 25% are independent. Of course we have a large immigrant population but we know this is about voting, not immigration.

I live about 20 minutes from the beach but have been housebound for months with #chronicillness #cfs. My outlet is #Minecraft. So here's my day at the beach! A sand castle the size of a mansion. So relaxing and I'm not even tired.

I put curcumin in my dairy-free protein fudge. Curcumin is like an orange dye they could use to bomb bank robbers or porch pirates. My fudge is ummm... of questionable appearance. I'm pretty sure no one else in this house will steal any. I'm eating it with a fork.

I've always been disturbed by the fact that animal shelters look like little prisons. Could they be designed that way on purpose because people are more likely to adopt (or "rescue") an animal from what looks like a cell? Or am I reading too much into it?
