PhD in NMR method development 🧪 | Open to work
I’m currently looking for opportunities in analytical chemistry research in Montréal 🇨🇦 I hold a PhD and have postdoctoral research experience focused on #NMR method development for the analysis of mixtures. I would be happy to connect and discuss potential collaborations or positions :) #ChemSky

Jean-Nicolas Dumez was my PhD supervisor until end-2023. He wasn't only brilliant, rigorous and endlessly generous with his time, but also a deeply humane person who stood for inclusion and making a better world. I feel very grateful for everything he shared with me, both scientifically and humanly.

The NMR community suffers a great loss with the sudden passing of Jean Nicolas Dumez. I'm deeply saddened by this news. His generous spirit and willingness to share his knowledge of science and NMR were unmatched and will be missed by many. My thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues.

Jean-Nicolas Dumez was an exceptional human being, someone whose intelligence and rigor I truly admired, committed to making the world a better place. I enjoyed every occasion to share his friendly company and witty conversation.
What a terrible loss. 💔

Academia is hard for everyone. But for many, for instance women, it is unnecessarily harder.

Of the 4000 researchers at NIH, only 20% are tenured. They’re going to fire all the rest as their contracts come up for renewal, absolutely decimating research at the NIH. This is catastrophic, not just for Americans, but for the whole world.
