Sometimes I feel like spiritual/emotional growth happens less like an expanding bubble and more like popcorn or a balloon animal. Things are shifting and expanding in strange, incongruous ways, but the transformation means I’m shifting into shapes that make room for new knowledge.

Conservative and reactionary centrist media is trying to set up a narrative in which GLP-1s are some kind of existential threat to body positivity and fat activism.
It's bullshit. If you want to lose weight, go for it. But not everyone can or wants to — and they deserve equal treatment regardless.

I think some weird olfactory/sinus stuff is resulting in me hallucinating the smell of cigarette smoke and it’s been so weird! Over 24 hours straight of it so far. Wild.

I really, really need to set up a super basic website but my brain is SO resistant to using a website builder like square space or whatevs. I haven’t touched my little neocities but I’d like to at least build it out enough to have a bio, a links page, and a portfolio sampling. Get on this, self!!!

I really need to make some zines about long COVID, dysautonomia, MCAS, PEM, and POTS. I really want more folks to be aware of how variable and weird these conditions are, and how complex it is to manage them! Maybe I’ll collab with my mom, since she’s in the thick of dealing with these rn.

I must say, the writing in episode 10 of @murderbastard.bsky.social was especially visceral. I’m letting the imagery slip and slide around my mind. I’m especially fond of the strawberries of flesh, the water of the shower slicing at skin, and the woods by the hotel.
