Someone told me lately "Bluesky is just like Twitter." I argued that was untrue on the basis that last time I had a Twitter account most times I got a new follower their bio said "single & looking for fun" & here when I get a new follower it tends to say something like "professor of rare moths".

I finished the example page to send with my #kidlit manuscript!! Now the 3 month wait begins to hear back from publishers! Added some of my favorite parts since it's a biiiig picture. #artist #art #writer

My partner bought a new Ipad, we used his last one for at least 12 years. I made sure to add a pro pencil. It was pretty intuitive, but I'll stick to computer tablets. I miss shortcuts and working on big things seems problematic. But the brushes are nice! #artist

Maaan, sadness. I got an email from the publisher I've illustrated an entire book for with some copy paste about the last things to do before printing and... "For the cover we can use Ai if the ask is hard to make.". D: It's meant for adult books but I'll avoid working with them again... #kidlit

Oo! I have an #arttip! Don't know how to draw furniture at an angle? Check out IKEA's site! They usually have a black and white all-lines measurement sheet among their product photos. Veeeery helpful.
