Lol, our institute is having a two-day symposium, but these snacks are the only food provided throughout the symposium. The lack of funding is embarrassing.

I'm trying not to invest any more emotions in job hunting. I'm no longer pouring my passion into cover letters or emails cos the rejection/ghosting rate is too high these days. I'm writing with no emotions now. And after I submit the application, I forget about it. This is the only way to stay sane.

Lol, after our outdoor BBQ party on the snow last month, the party organiser made a song using AI. The lyrics vividly described how I devoured the bacon 🥓😂 This made my day!

This morning I woke up early and asked myself 'How brave I need to be to face all the shit going on in my life?' and then I chose not to be brave. Hours passed, but I'm still staying in bed now. This is a telltale sign of burnout 😮💨

My boss blamed me for never sending him any experimental results I've got, and I was surprised cos I definitely sent him the results whenever I got any. Now I've digged out all my previous emails to him that contain my experimental results, and I'm forwarding every one of them to him. 😑
