"There is no new science here," Dean @ashishkjha.bsky.social says. "Bobby Kennedy said that he wanted to get to the root cause of autism by September—he's found what I think is a convenient scape goat. But the harm is going to be for pregnant women across the country."
Tylenol concerns around autism are overblown, says Dr. Ashish Jha
Dr. Ashish Jha, Dean of the School of Public Health at Brown University, joins 'Fast Money' to discuss new government guidance on Tylenol use during pregnancy, why leading studies show no link to autism, the reaction from obstetricians, and the challeng...

With so much nonsense being thrown at the academic research community lately, RSA was a breath of fresh air. Grateful to be surrounded by scientists who care deeply and keep showing up for the work.

"Women" were on the forbidden word list. The Women's Health Initiative helped us understand Hormone Replacement Therapy. We had this study because NIH had frequently *left women out* of their studies.
Well the NIH has cancelled the Women's Health Initiative, the largest study of women in history

It has been running continuously since 1991 and has provided massive key knowledge about diseases in women

Unreal

A phenomenal #CPA2025 @apadivision50.bsky.social! Devastating to hear the tremendous damage inflicted by senseless HHS/NIH/FDA cuts to so many in our community, and also so nourishing to be together and support each other during these times. As promised, a new starter pack: go.bsky.app/SnnMai2

Proud of my colleague and dear friend, Dr. Polly Ingram, and her poster presenting data showing increased alcohol problems in those with negative attitudes towards non-drinkers. #CPA2025 @apadivision50.bsky.social
