1,000 followers! Hi! I’m Lindsay in Toronto; originally from rural Alberta. I’m a failed writer who worked many years in the 🎶 biz. Husband, frustrated by the Blue Jays’ performance, turned from the game to “The Diplomat” & then the Jays scored so I guess this means he can’t watch the games anymore

You don’t need another scented candle; you don’t need another scented candle; no, really, you don’t need another scented candle…

I know it’s unnatural but this weather is amazing & I wish we could keep it for most of the year. (Of course it can be colder for late November-mid-February.)

Oh it’s going to be sloppy out there tonight, #Toronto. I’m sticking to the East End b/c I’m not brave enough to muscle my way through #nbTO25’s downtown portion

Had a nice exchange in the women’s washroom at tonight’s Nine Inch Nails’ concert with a fellow masked attendee (there were a few of us!). She liked my mask chain (which is a slightly iridescent in a way I can’t capture). A nice addition to an already great night. 😊

Just amplifying an important thread. 🎉🎉🎉
Hi everyone. Very time-sensitive ask here from your friend in NB. Two parts, relating to the CSA standard #Z94.4. The Canadian Aerosol Transmission Coalition has written a statement in support of the revisions to Z94.4. You or your organization are welcome to sign on in support, deadline tom. /1

Watching the Trainwreck: Area 51 thing on Netflix & am stunned that there are 🇺🇸 who aren’t familiar with Area 51. I assumed that it was one of those places like Disney World that everyone just knows about.

Spent last night like it was 1998; watched an Offspring concert & then stayed up late watching the new “South Park.”

Wait, are these normally 12.5%? Is this how the $17 (!!!) concert venue price is justified?

Do I believe in astrology? No. Am I still sharing this Vanity Fair article from 2006 that reads the United States stars? Hellls yes. www.vanityfair.com/news/2006/12...

Teddy the fluffy corgi says, “Hit the beach this heat wave! There are no sharks in Lake Ontario!” (Also “Jaws” turns 50 today.)

Sorry Teddy! The wind wasn’t strong enough to blow the table over.

If our culture wasn't so misinformed and resistant to masks as an air health protection, I would expect officials would issue air alerts and distribute masks in critical wildfire smoke zones. We see water warnings at contaminated beaches but seem to do little about contaminated air. 🤷‍♂️

I worked one summer for Travel Alberta b4 smartphones were a thing & ppl would ask for a map & I’d say they were $2 & they’d say the maps were free in BC & I’d “We didn’t get to be the richest province by giving away maps” & they would pay the $2. I sold more maps than any of my co-workers.

WTF is this collection of future abuses of power?

Why are so many of our “leaders” consistently disappointing?
The Strong Borders Act would allow "Canada Post to open mail based on vague criteria [and] law enforcement to get IP addresses w/o a warrant ... police will be able to ask digital service providers to hand over data voluntarily and protect them from being sued ..."
