It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Good morning and Happy Thursday to everyone who agrees that we have to take a stand against corrupt millionaires and billionaires who have taken control of our country, and take it back before it's too late.

DO NOT BACK DOWN.
DO NOT COMPLY.

This is correct.
So Trump hurt America's relationship with Canada and made markets wobble all to "get" Canada to do things Canada had announced back in December in coordination with the Biden administration, do I have that right?

Want a great slogan for midterms?
"If you FAFO and are struggling because of Trump policies, we understand. The Dems are here for you. Tell us how we can help you "

You get the point.

FAFO will be the theme. Be the solution.

Footage from last year is now resurfacing of Trump promising to “end inflation” starting on “day one.”

— Egg prices are up.
— Gas prices are up.
— He is promising tariffs that will raise prices even more.

It’s amazing to me that politicians don’t commit to post first on @bsky.app and to engage with constituents here

THIS is more powerful than CNN , MSNBC, The Post will ever be.

You can broadcast for 9 mins on a declining medium, or engage here and start a real discussion.

Which is more powerful?

You can blame Garland if you want to — and I agree that he has faults — but reading through the Smith report on election interference makes one thing clear:

Voter apathy saved Trump from real accountability for the first time in his life.

I hope everyone who stayed home is happy.

"I feel let down by the members of Congress who turned their backs on us even as we saved their lives. And yes, we saved their lives that day."

The sobering thoughts of a Capitol cop on the anniversary of January 6th:
I Was Nearly Killed on Jan. 6th. Four Years Later, I Feel Betrayed All Over Again.
The people whose lives I protected sided with my attackers. But they weren’t the only ones to let me down.

The best thing to do on this platform today is to repost the Ann Telnaes cartoon that the Washington Post didn’t want the world to see.

This is the Ann Telnaes cartoon the Washington Post refused to publish. Telnaes, who has been at the Post since 2008, resigned. I think it’s our job to insure that the cartoon gets tons more attention than it would’ve if the Post had simply run it.

Every time I read about banning books, I think of this:

Reading a book with a gay character will not make you gay any more than reading a book about Einstein will make you a genius.
If you're afraid that books might change someone's thinking, you're not afraid of books — you're afraid of thinking.
