The silence has been incredible. The experts that make up the UN committee on the Convention of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities called on Canada to repeal T2 MAID & in response it's been crickets.

Fragranced products should be in separately vented spaces away from food & other products & materials.
In a store like that, everything gets fragrance contaminated!
Fragrances emit many hazardous VOCs, & chemicals that harm everyone, not just the #HumanCanaries.

Creating a native garden/habitat is the way of the future (no matter how much or little outdoor space you have access to). Some people are having to fight hard for the right to do so. Much gratitude to them for their work.

If you are serious about supporting your neighbors and the vulnerable members of your community, you will need to ask them about their unmet needs and take them seriously when they tell you what they are.

You will need to learn not to say sentences starting with "Well can't you just...?"

Our governments are admitting they have access to billions of dollars, & aren't devoting available resources to economic, social, & cultural rights. Their plans violate Article 2 of the Covenant, and thus our obligations under international law... & deny human rights...
