There is no way in hell I would trust a free VPN. I know what goes in to running a VPN and it isn’t cheap. Definitely a case of if you’re not paying for it; you’re the product.
If TikTok does get blocked in the US, millions will try to skirt the ban by using VPNs that route their data through another country. But many VPNs are hella shady! Checkup went well. Stitches removed and I can take the boot off to shower.

I have my first follow up appointment for my foot surgery today. Will be glad to have the boot off even temporarily. Feel bad for the nurse who has to unwrap it. Can’t imagine how bad it will reek after two weeks.

In 2021 I had weight loss surgery. In 2022 I ran my first 5k. In 2023 & 2024 I ran at least one 5k a month. Dec. 2024 I ran my first 10k.
After 2 years of monthly races my streak is ending. Tomorrow morning I have to have surgery on my foot. Once recovered my goal is half marathon.
