this is why, as a literature teacher, i mask. My livelihood depends on it and my students’ wellbeing too 😭
Oh, and while I’m here showing off my deep wounds due to institutional failure: difficulty reading is a sign of both executive dysfunction and emotional dysregulation AND it is a symptom of long COVID, so every incredulous thread about the Youths not wanting to read makes me want to scream.

As someone who teaches frankenstein every year, I had SO many thoughts about this film. I am a fan of GTD’s movies. Loved the nested doll structure and how freaky Elizabeth was. Loved the costumes, acting, and music
