As a Green Card holder the recent moves by the federal government to ‘cancel’ a Legal Permanent Resident’s status without any legal recourse is absolutely terrifying. I’ve been here over 20 years, with a family and my own business. It’s hard to ignore this as a direct threat.

“efficiency” while l, at the same time, celebrating the current budget proposal where we get a 2 Trillion dollar addition to the deficit is just another level of Idiocracy. Hard to stay upbeat in this climate.

People are telling me not to be political. Me, Legal Permanent Resident/Green Card holder. I’ve been following politics and international diplomacy my whole life. I’m Canadian and proud to have an American family. I want the best for them. That’s why I speak up.

These days it’s hard to be positive. I’m grateful for the small things; my kids, my wife, my family, food in the fridge etc. There was a time when I didn’t have all that. There’s a lot of bs happening right now. Try to find the small things that bring you joy. Hold on to them.

As a adult I’m surprised that quicksand, barracudas and swimming immediately after eating don’t figure more prominently in my life.

Welp. Trump breaking another trade agreement by imposing 25% tariffs on steel and aluminum on “everybody” including Canada and Mexico. Long term relationships and trust being shredded as he keeps breaking his own agreements. This gets harder to come back from each time. Smdh
