Situated in the north of The Netherlands is the Waddensea. It is a large tidal plane with sandbars and (temporary) islands. Occasionally flat-bottomed ships will intentionally beach themselves on a sandbar to explore nature. #unesco #waddenzee #landscape #photography

F-16’s at Leeuwarden are now mostly a thing of the past, this one was landing there after a Frisian Flag 2019 mission. Now it is mostly F-35’s.
