Don’t want to doomscroll but also don’t want to hear your own thoughts?? This is a great audiobook narrated by the soothing voice of Benedict Cumberbatch. It’s about theoretical physics. I don’t understand much of it - and that in itself is strangely soothing. Highly recommend. 💙📚

Ok people. How are we resisting this week??!? I’m planning on going to a school board meeting, calling my reps and state attorney generals (thank you @5calls.org), and continuing to provide Know Your Rights cards to students. What should I add to the list?? 🤷🏼♀️

If you are an educator make sure you are a member of a teacher association that offers legal coverage - it can be your states chapter of the NEA or a state organization (like PAGE in Georgia) ⚖️

What I’m reading on the plane. We all need to do what we can, when we can. If all you can do today to contribute is learn something about authoritarianism that you didn’t know before, that’s good enough. A little is better than none. Keep going.

Sometimes I log in to the clock app to see what my son has reposted and then I quickly realize that we are not meant to see our 13 year olds thoughts. 😆 Also none of it makes any sense whatsoever. 🤣
