One book I’m surprised isn’t on choice awards but definitely deserves a spot!

ML Wang’s Blood Over Bright Haven was one of my favorite reads this year. It masterfully handled a complex magic system and phenomenal characters in a unique society.

You have spent years reading books, watching movies & TV, developing taste to know good from bad. NO ONE GETS TO READ YOUR WRITING UNTIL YOU LET THEM. Trust your taste & write fearlessly.
