Stepan Chubenko from Kramatorsk was a promising Ukrainian footballer. In July 2014, he was kidnapped, brutally tortured, and murdered by russia for loving his homeland.

The difference in the way our games are not just refereed but also commentated on compared to Arsenal or Chelsea for example is stark. It’s negative and personal from the get go. Spoils the game.

For me he was man of the match. Absolute beast against one of the worlds best. Need that energy week in week out now. From everyone.

Last nights game was so good. And the crowd were exceptional. The Kop barely stopped all night long - supporting the players when they made mistakes, supporting Slot and ending with a long rendition of 'Don't Worry about a Thing' - cause they know - everything will be alright.

Im sorry but what Stephen Warnock said about the Jota song is nonsense. The team are grieving a player and that is happening whether we sing or not. Suggesting a chant is the reason for our downturn seems like grasping at straws.
